Kathmandu to Pokhara trip travel guide
Travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara is a journey filled with a glimpse of natural beauty, stunning mountain views and beautiful landscapes. Kathmandu to Pokhara travel time by bus
The average time travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 7 to 8 hours. the 200km trip will takes you through various Nepali towns and villages along the way. You can find direct route tourist buses from Kathmandu which will make your journey for convenient.
When to visit
The best times to travel Kathmandu to Pokhara are autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May). These seasons have mostly clear skies, beautiful mountain views and pleasant temperatures. However, monsoon season (June to August) can be challenging due to rain, while winter (December to February) can be cold and refreshing.
